A new machine and tractor station has been launched in the Ak-Suu district to serve farmers

Recently, a new machine and tractor station (MTS) was put into operation in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region. This event was made possible by the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The construction of the station was carried out under the directive of President Sadyr Japarov, who allocated 108 million soms from the Presidential Fund. The former enterprise "Selenegro" in the village of Ak-Suu became the base for the new MTS.

The station includes more than 60 units of specialized equipment, which has already been made available to farmers. It is expected that the services of the station will be accessible to farmers from three districts: Tyup, Ak-Suu, and Jeti-Oguz.

The new structure is capable of performing the entire cycle of agrotechnical work in a mechanized format—from soil preparation to harvest collection. The program pays special attention to potato farming: for this purpose, 10 modern potato harvesting combines have been purchased.

To date, the equipment of the MTS is actively used in spring fieldwork. Specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture are confident that access to quality mechanized services will significantly increase farmers' productivity and minimize losses during the harvest of agricultural crops.
