Kanibek Tumanbaev, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, commented on the criticism regarding the new residential complexes being built by the State Mortgage Company.

He noted that opinions are being expressed on social media that such houses are being built too densely and resemble anthills. In response to these remarks, Tumanbaev suggested comparing this situation to the dense construction in Tokyo.

In his post, he shared a video taken from one of the high-rise buildings in the Japanese capital, showing what dense residential areas in Tokyo look like.

Tumanbaev emphasized that all existing norms and standards are strictly adhered to in the construction of mortgage facilities in Kyrgyzstan, including designing with the necessary parking spaces for residents in mind.

According to him, the country's population will increase in the future, while land resources will remain the same. In this regard, he highlighted the importance of rational land use even now.

He added: "Inefficient land use and excessive occupation will lead to a shortage in the future," calling for a more reasonable and justified approach in criticizing such projects.
