He explained that the technical passport is not just a piece of paper, but a document with six levels of protection.
“Previously, citizens of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan had the opportunity to purchase our licenses in the underground markets of Moscow. Now, the new IDs and technical passports cannot be forged. These documents will be legalized in neighboring countries and will receive international status. They were developed and manufactured by the state enterprise 'Uchkyn'. Additionally, by using the QR code printed on the technical passport, one can obtain information about the technical condition of the vehicle,” Tumanbaev added.
He also noted that 3,000 citizens have already received passports online.
“Over time, we expect an increase in the number of vehicle registrations through the internet. This will help eradicate corruption,” concluded the presidential affairs manager.
