Tynchtykbek Ongorbekov, a native of the village of Bayzak (formerly known as San-Tash) in the Tyup district, has served in the police for 27 years. He was born in 1967 and is educated as a veterinarian.

After graduating from school in 1982 in the village of San-Tash, he continued his life in military service, serving in the engineering troops of the Soviet Army in Aralsk, Kazakhstan. After the army, Tynchtykbek studied at the Issyk-Kul Agricultural College from 1986 to 1988. However, he worked in his specialty for only six months before being directed to the police, where he joined the quarantine battalion.

The quarantine battalion was responsible for securing areas affected by epidemiological situations and carried out necessary work until its disbandment in 1992. After that, Ongorbekov became a driver in the Internal Affairs Department of the Tyup district and then worked in the Traffic Police of Tyup. From 1996 to 2005, he was a senior instructor in Cholpon-Ata, after which he continued his service in the Traffic Police of the Ak-Suu district from 2005 to 2013, concluding his career as a leader.

Tynchtykbek shared one of the memorable cases from his practice: "In 1994, in a hotel in Karakol, two young men committed murder. They fled in a taxi but killed the driver along the way and hung his body on a tree. They were later caught in Tokmok. Interestingly, the father of one of them, arriving in a 'Volga,' stated that his son should be held accountable for his actions. We expected him to defend him, but it turned out he supported justice."

He also noted that among police officers, there are many who are too immersed in their work and do not notice how their children grow up. "When we left for business trips, wives often found out about it too late. Communication was limited, and sometimes business trips lasted for weeks or even months. I have four daughters, and I could only tell their ages, but I didn't know what grade they were in," Tynchtykbek added.
According to him, work in the Traffic Police has always been stressful. He noted that in the past, drivers who had consumed alcohol were afraid to get behind the wheel due to possible consequences, but the situation has changed now. Despite the tightening of laws, many continue to disregard traffic rules.

At present, Tynchtykbek is actively involved in public life, despite being retired. "I retired as the head of the district Traffic Police and continue to participate in preventive activities with young inspectors," he emphasized.
He has several awards, including the "Aзамат" badges of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degrees, the title of an excellent officer of the Traffic Police, as well as the medals "Эмгек каарманы" and "Эл сыймыгы." Currently, Tynchtykbek is a proud grandfather of four grandchildren.
