To date, 52 technical regulations have been developed and adopted within the union, and about 9,000 modern interstate and national standards have been included in the EAEU database.
According to the Commission's data, thanks to the unified technical regulation system, more than 85% of products supplied by the member countries comply with common requirements and procedures.
In the coming months, the EEC faces the task of completing work on nine additional technical regulations.
“These regulations concern products that are of high significance for each of the countries, such as chemicals, construction materials, paints and varnishes, and vehicles,” added Maxim Kim.
