During the first stage of the program, Kasymaliev visited the under-construction western bus station, which plays an important role in relieving the central part of the city from intercity transport. He emphasized the need to adhere to international standards in both logistics and passenger comfort.
In addition, work is actively underway to improve the road infrastructure that will provide access to the new transport hub. As part of this project, plans were presented for the construction of road sections with a total length of 8.74 km. This includes:
— a section of 5.775 km connecting Profsoyuznaya Street with the northern bypass road;
— two connecting sections of 1.376 km and 1.589 km.
These measures will create an efficient transport corridor, significantly reducing the load on the northern part of the capital.
The next stop of the visit was the construction site of the new Osh market. Relocating this trading complex outside the central part of the city is an important step in combating traffic jams and improving the overall appearance of Bishkek. Kasymaliev instructed to create comfortable conditions for entrepreneurs and residents, including modern warehouse facilities and spacious parking lots.
Kanybek Tumanbaev, the president's chief of staff, noted that the construction of the bus station, road network, and new market is on schedule, with the completion of all facilities planned for May of this year.
Concluding his trip, the chairman of the cabinet of ministers familiarized himself with the construction process of the international-level stadium "Bishkek Arena" in the village of Orok.
Tumanbaev presented current information on the progress of this sports complex, designed for 51,000 spectators. It is being built in strict accordance with FIFA standards and will become the largest sports facility in the country, opening opportunities for hosting international-level football matches and cultural events.
During the design phase, special attention was paid to inclusivity: specialized seating and facilities for persons with disabilities (PWD) are provided in the stands and all functional areas.
Following the trip, Kasymaliev issued a number of instructions to relevant state structures and the city administration. He emphasized the need to ensure high quality in road and construction works, as well as strict adherence to deadlines for the completion of projects.
