Kyrgyzstan will implement mandatory mediation based on the experience of Ankara
This trip was organized at the invitation of the Union of Mediators of the Turkic World and became a significant step in the development of the legal system of Kyrgyzstan. During the visit, the delegation from the Ministry of Justice and the Republican Community of Mediators (RCM) visited the Mediation Center in Ankara, where they learned about the mechanism of mandatory pre-trial reconciliation that must be completed before filing a lawsuit in court.

As part of this trip, Orozbek Sydykov and the chairperson of the Supervisory Board of the RCM, Gulsina Kozhoyarova, held a series of meetings with high-profile representatives of the Turkish government, including deputy ministers of justice, culture, and tourism, as well as the leadership of the Court of Cassation and heads of TİKA and YTB. As a result of the negotiations, important strategic agreements were reached, which will be implemented in the coming years. One of the key projects planned for 2027 is the training of new mediators throughout Kyrgyzstan with the involvement of Turkish specialists. Additionally, employees of the Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan will have the opportunity to undergo internships in Turkish educational institutions, and joint projects in the field of mediation will be developed for citizens of both countries. This exchange of experience aims to significantly enhance the effectiveness of out-of-court dispute resolution and strengthen legal cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
