On February 3, an off-site meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on Labor, Health, Women's Affairs, and Social Issues took place in the village of Tash-Dobo, during which an assessment of the work of the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Resortology and Rehabilitation, operating under the Ministry of Health, was conducted.

The director of the institute, Daniyar Kaskeev, reported that the building, constructed in 1984, has not yet undergone major repairs. Nevertheless, the institute continues to operate actively and serves about 13,000 patients from different parts of the country each year.

Speaking at the meeting, deputy Gulnara Baatyrova emphasized the importance of the institute for society and highlighted the need to create a comfortable and accessible environment for patients. She also noted the significance of free treatment for heroic mothers and the necessity of providing the institute with ambulances.

Another deputy, Gulkan Moldobekova, expressed concern over the insufficient funding allocated for patient meals and suggested increasing these funds. She also raised the issue of the lack of housing for medical workers.

Deputy Toktobubu Ashymbaeva noted that the institute is a leading scientific and medical center in the field of balneology and rehabilitation and emphasized the need to create comfortable conditions for patients. She highlighted the importance of improving the quality of medical services, especially for children and people with disabilities.

Committee members reached a consensus on the necessity of taking measures to update the equipment at the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Resortology and Rehabilitation, conduct major repairs, improve medical services, and increase salaries for staff.
