The Technical Commission approved the construction project of the "Zes Oyu" distribution station with a voltage of 220 kV, which will be integrated into the energy system of the Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia (ARIM). Important documents, such as the "Electricity Purchase Agreement" and the "Dispatch Coordination Agreement," were signed on December 16 by representatives of both parties.

These agreements will pave the way for connection to the ARIM energy system, which will help meet the growing needs of the southern regions of Mongolia.

The event was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Zhang Haifen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Energy Group" (IMPC) from ARIM, Wang Pengfei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "International Energy Cooperation" (IMPIC), and Chojilsuren Battogtokh, Minister of Energy of Mongolia. Also present were Balzhinyam Gomboragchaa, Executive Director of the "National Dispatch Center," Dashdavaa Bilegt, Executive Director of the "National Electricity Transmission Network," and other officials.

The energy system of Mongolia was connected to the Russian energy system on December 30, 1976, at 21:30 and has been successfully operating in parallel mode for almost 50 years.

This event is a significant step in the development of energy cooperation with the southern neighbor, which, in turn, will enhance the reliability and stability of the integrated energy system.
