Lorenzo Fontana, Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Republic, visited the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, as part of the state visit of the Mongolian leader to Italy. This was reported by the press service of the President of Mongolia.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation for strengthening bilateral relations between the countries. They also discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in areas such as agriculture, light industry, transport, culture, and education.
Along with the President of Mongolia, members of the Great State Khural (parliament) arrived in Italy, where they met with Italian deputies and familiarized themselves with the parliament building.
The Mongolia-Italy parliamentary group in Mongolia is headed by Deputy Mrs. Undraa Agvaanluvsan, while the Italian side is represented by Nicola Care. The Italy-Mongolia group consists of 20 members representing various political parties.
