According to law enforcement agencies, J.S. attempted to suffocate his mother with a pillow while she was sleeping.
“When the woman resisted, he struck her several times on various parts of her body. This case has been registered, and a criminal case has been initiated under the signs of a crime provided for by Article 138 'Torture' of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic,” the statement said.
During the investigation, messages were found in the correspondence between J.S. and his wife A.G. on WhatsApp, where he expressed intentions to kill his mother J.M.,” the official statement added.
In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, J.S. was detained as a suspect and placed in a temporary detention facility. The district court decided on a preventive measure in the form of detention for two months.
