On January 30, a 23-year-old individual, K.D., approached the internal affairs authorities of the Issyk-Ata district, reporting that in December 2025, an acquaintance had deceitfully taken 38,500 soms from him. According to the victim, the fraudster also promised to reduce the amount of alimony from 8,300 to 4,700 soms.
As a result of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Law enforcement officers detained the suspect, 27-year-old K.A., who was placed in a temporary detention facility. During the investigation, it was revealed that he used the money obtained for personal needs.
