It became known that on January 22, 2026, a citizen reported to the police department of the Jayil district about his acquaintance with the suspect I.R. in November 2025. This man worked at one of the lyceums in the city of Kara-Balta.
According to the victim, the new acquaintance promised to help him enter his training data into the electronic database for obtaining a driver's license. For this service, he requested 30,600 soms. However, after receiving the money, the suspect ceased communication and did not fulfill his obligations.
In connection with this incident, the investigative authorities initiated a criminal case under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
After conducting operational measures, the police were able to identify the suspect, who turned out to be the previously convicted I.R., born in 1966. He is currently in a temporary detention facility.
