In an official statement, the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic notes that the individual I. R., detained on suspicion of fraud, has no connection to the system of vocational lyceums in the city of Kara-Balta. The department emphasizes that previously disseminated information about his work in one of the lyceums is not true and urges the public to refer only to verified sources.

According to the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui Region, a man suspected of fraud related to the issuance of driver's licenses was detained in the Jayil District. On January 22, a resident of the Panfilov District reported to the police that in November 2025, I. R. promised for a certain fee to include him in the electronic database for obtaining a driver's license.

The applicant handed over 30,600 soms to the suspect; however, the promises were not fulfilled, and the money was not returned. In this regard, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The suspect, a man born in 1966 with previous convictions, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
