Since the early 2000s, the territory that once belonged to the machinery yard of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic in the village of Tamchy has been illegally privatized. This was reported by the press service of the State National Security Committee (GKNB).

According to the data provided by the agency, from 2000 to 2004, this plot of land was sold to third parties by the Republican Center for Land and Agrarian Reform without conducting the necessary competitive procedures, which violates the provisions on the denationalization and privatization of state farms and other agricultural enterprises in the country.
