Facts of residential complexes being built without parking spaces have been identified in the city
Serious violations have been discovered in the process of constructing residential buildings in Osh. This information was provided by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
It has become known that design organizations and construction companies were submitting distorted data about future projects concerning the availability of parking spaces for residents. Based on this unreliable information, the projects were approved by officials of the local architectural management.
Construction companies, seeking financial gain, built commercial properties while ignoring their obligation to provide residents with the necessary parking spaces.
Furthermore, local architectural officials were in preliminary collusion with representatives of the construction companies.
This cooperation led to systematic violations of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of urban planning. This, in turn, caused delays in the construction timelines, dissatisfaction among investors, worsening traffic conditions, congestion on the street and road network, and a significant burden on urban infrastructure.
As a result of the materials collected, the GKNB initiated a criminal case, within which the first deputy chief architect of "T.Y.K." and the architecture specialist "T.Z.M." were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic.
