The GKNB provided details: facts of inaction and document forgery
According to the press center of the GKNB, two employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been detained in connection with the case of an ex-policeman who murdered his former wife in Bishkek.
The investigation was initiated at the direction of the head of the GKNB, and an investigative-operational group was formed to conduct it.
The group is working to clarify the circumstances that led to the murder of a woman who left three children behind.
During the investigation, new facts were revealed regarding the victim's possession of a protection order due to a high level of risk to her life and health.
Despite this, the district inspector of the Sverdlovsk district police department in Bishkek, "Zh.N.", ignored the victim's requests and did not take action to ensure the safety of both the victim and her children.
After the horrific crime was committed, this inspector "Zh.N." forged documents about allegedly conducted checks at the murderer's house, attempting to cover up his violations.
Additionally, it was established that the senior inspector of the public safety service of the Bishkek city police department, "A.K.", illegally issued and extended a permit for the possession and carrying of a traumatic pistol for the accused, in violation of the law.
At the time of the crime, the validity of this permit had already expired, and "A.K." took no action to confiscate the weapon from the suspect.
On December 29, 2025, the GKNB initiated criminal cases against these policemen for committing official crimes, after which they were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
In accordance with the law, charges will be brought against them, and the Lenin District Court of Bishkek will determine the measure of restraint during the investigation.
The investigation continues, and the actions of all law enforcement officers will be thoroughly analyzed for subsequent legal assessment.
