Among the signatories of the appeal to the President of Kyrgyzstan and the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh requesting early presidential elections are elders, pensioners, public figures, and former law enforcement officers. As reported by Kaktus.media, law enforcement officials have confirmed that searches are being conducted at the homes of some of them.

Today, February 11, early in the morning, police officers began checks at the addresses of several of the 75 signatories of the appeal. Among those summoned to the police is public figure Bekbolot Talgarebekov, who is already being directed to law enforcement agencies. It is worth noting that he was also mentioned in Sadyr Japarov's comment about the need to "strengthen unity and prevent a split in society."

Some of the signatories have already been taken to the Main Department of Criminal Investigation.

It should be noted that most of those summoned for questioning are within the framework of a criminal case that has been initiated, and no searches or forceful measures are being conducted against them.

Yesterday, February 10, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree relieving Kamchybek Tashiev of his duties as Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security.

Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov has been appointed as the acting chairman of the State Committee for National Security to replace Tashiev.

Earlier, 75 politicians, including current and former officials, as well as representatives from culture and healthcare, published an open letter requesting early elections.
