In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, law enforcement agencies have detained a man suspected of coercing girls into drug use.
According to information from the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs, a report about the situation was received through the "102" service. The applicant indicated that in one of the houses on Matyiev Street, a man was offering girls narcotic substances, and his niece was also present at the scene and had taken drugs.
Arriving at the scene, police officers confirmed the information received. As a result of the detention, three individuals were taken to the station: two girls and a young man.
During the investigation, it was revealed that various types of drugs were being used in the specified apartment, which was recorded in the medical examination report.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 287 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to coercion to consume narcotic substances and other prohibited substances.
The detained individual was identified as K.J., born in 1992, and he has been placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
Law enforcement agencies remind that coercion to use drugs is a criminal offense.
