According to the agency, the radicalization of teenagers occurs gradually, through online interactions, where manipulation and psychological pressure play a key role in convincing minors to adopt dangerous views that justify violence.
The GKNB has recorded several cases of recruitment of teenagers by members of terrorist groups over the past six months.
In some situations, minors were detained at the stage of preparing terrorist acts, when they were studying instructions for creating homemade explosive devices, while in other cases, they were already at the stage of production. Such actions are classified as serious crimes and entail criminal liability in Kyrgyzstan.

Law enforcement agencies emphasize that the process of involving teenagers often occurs unnoticed, disguised as friendly communication. Radicalization can negatively affect a teenager's mental state, leading to a loss of connection with reality and falling under the influence of criminal groups, which jeopardizes their future.
Parents are advised to pay attention to the following alarming signs:
- striking changes in behavior and withdrawal;
- isolation from family and friends;
- expression of aggressive or radical religious views;
- hidden contacts with strangers online;
- interest in dubious websites and closed groups;
- justification of violence and offenses;
- increased aggression towards relatives.
Experts emphasize that open dialogue within the family, attention to teenagers' interests, and reasonable monitoring of their online activity are important preventive measures.
If such signs are detected, citizens should immediately report them to the territorial divisions of the GKNB.
