In Saint Petersburg, 36-year-old Khayrullo Ibodullaev, a citizen of Uzbekistan and a janitor, witnessed an incredible incident and displayed remarkable courage. He caught a seven-year-old boy who fell from a window on the seventh floor, media reports say.

The boy, who suffers from autism, was playing by an open window with a tablet, lost his balance, and began to fall, managing to grab onto the ledge for a moment.

Upon noticing this, Khayrullo began to actively signal to the child, trying to warn him. When the boy let go of the ledge, the man instantly reacted, positioning his hands to cushion the fall. After that, he quickly carried the child into the building and tried to revive him until the ambulance arrived. Meanwhile, the boy's mother was in the kitchen and only realized her son was missing ten minutes later. Both sustained serious injuries.

Currently, the boy is in intensive care with fractures and internal organ damage; his condition is stable. Khayrullo also suffered injuries—he has been diagnosed with fractures of his wrists and ribs.

It is worth noting that Khayrullo arrived in Russia just four months ago in search of work, while in Uzbekistan, four children and his parents are waiting for him.
