A citizen named R.U. reported to the police that on February 8, 2026, he became a victim of a scammer. The applicant found an advertisement for renting an apartment on the "Lalafo" platform and subsequently transferred 12,000 soms as a deposit. This amount was transferred through the payment system "Bionex," but after receiving the funds, the scammer ceased communication with him.
In connection with the aforementioned incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. As a result of the conducted activities, the suspect was identified and detained — a citizen named S.Ch., born in 1987. He is currently placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek.
