According to the agency, the detained operative officer M.A.Z., using his official position, demanded 200 dollars from citizen A.K.D. for assistance in obtaining a favorable resolution to issues related to the materials of the preliminary investigation opened against him.
The senior lieutenant of the police was caught at the scene of the crime while receiving the money and has been placed in the GKNB investigative isolation facility under Articles 96 and 97 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
