Based on the received complaint, a criminal case was initiated under part 1 of article 208 "Extortion" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, law enforcement officials established that a 29-year-old individual, Ch.T., was involved in the extortion. He was caught "in the act" while receiving 80,000 soms from the victim.
After the arrest, the suspect was taken to the investigative department of the Internal Affairs Department of the October District and, in accordance with article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code, was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing in this criminal case.
