During an inspection conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of the Lenin District of Bishkek, cases of illegal collection of funds from the parents of students at school No. 95 were identified. This was reported by the supervisory authority.
As prosecutors found out, these violations contradict the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding the provision of state guarantees for free school education for children.
During the inspection, it became known that some teachers demanded payment for additional classes, the amount of which exceeded the established state rates.
As a result of the prosecutor's investigation, four teachers were held administratively liable. In addition, five employees of the Education Department of the Bishkek City Hall faced disciplinary actions. The school principal was dismissed from his position.
The Prosecutor's Office also noted that work to prevent illegal collections in educational institutions continues.
