In the Chui region, law enforcement officers have detained a suspect for obtaining a psychotropic substance via the internet, reports the press service of the regional police department.
According to the police, on February 28, in the village of Arashan, located in the Alamudun district, a girl named R.A., born in 2008, was detained with a package containing a psychotropic substance. Inside were 20 packets, with a total weight of 35 grams including the packaging.
Examination revealed that the seized substance is 4-CMC (chloromethcathinone, clephedrone), which is classified as a psychotropic.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal manufacture and sale of drugs and psychotropic substances.
The investigation found that on February 20, 2026, a citizen A.T. was at home in the city of Naryn when he ordered a psychotropic substance from the online store "Princess-Duri" via the Telegram messenger for 26,430 soms. After payment, he was sent the coordinates of the "stash" in the village of Arashan.
On February 28, A.T., disguising his intentions under the pretext of buying a ring for a girl, asked his cousin R.A. to stop by the village of Arashan on her way to Bishkek, without revealing the true purpose of the trip. The girl agreed and was detained at the scene by police officers.
As a result of operational measures, the suspect was arrested and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
