
A suspect in illegal drug trafficking has been detained
On February 28, the internal affairs authorities of the Alamudun district received information about the presence of drugs in the village of Arashan, reported the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.
As a result of the check, it was established that 15-year-old R.A. was found with a bag containing psychotropic substances, which included 20 heat-shrinkable packages with a total weight of 35 grams.
An examination showed that the seized substance is 4-SMC (chloromethcathinone, clephedrone), which is classified as a psychotropic substance.
In connection with this, a criminal case was initiated under Article 282 "Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation established that 25-year-old A.T., while at his home in Naryn, purchased the prohibited psychotropic substance online for 26,430 soms.
After payment, he received the coordinates and location of the so-called "stash," which was located in Arashan.
A.T., pretending that he was going to buy a ring for his girlfriend, asked his cousin R.A. to stop by the village of Arashan on her way to Bishkek, without explaining the true purpose of the trip. R.A. agreed and went to the designated location, where she was detained by police officers.
Currently, A.T. has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
