In Bishkek, a drug dealer was detained. Suspected of distributing psychotropic substances.

According to information provided by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek, on February 2, a signal was received by the "102" service from residents of a new building about the discovery of a suspicious object. An investigative operational group from the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department was dispatched to the scene. During the inspection, a package wrapped in duct tape was found near the fence. Residents reported that it had been left by an unknown person and provided video footage for confirmation.

Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning "Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale."

The expert-criminalistic service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate confirmed that the seized substance is a psychotropic compound, weighing approximately 120 grams.

The detainee has been placed in a temporary detention facility, and a pre-trial investigation is currently underway, with investigative actions continuing.
