According to the press service of the GSIN, the deputy head of the hospital, A.K.K., is suspected of abusing his official powers and extorting 10,000 soms.
The investigation established that he demanded money for the illegal extension of treatment for the accused E.N.A., born in 1997, despite the fact that the course of therapy had been completed. The transfer of the patient back to institution No. 21, which was mandatory, was not carried out.
The father of the accused transferred 5,000 soms twice using the M-bank application.
The collected materials have already been forwarded to the investigative department of the GSIN for further consideration. An additional preliminary investigation is currently underway.
Furthermore, an internal investigation has been initiated. The agency emphasized that measures to combat corruption are becoming more systematic.
