According to the investigation results, from 2022 to 2023, certain officials, abusing their powers, illegally allocated 2.35 hectares of land into private ownership for citizens. These actions were carried out bypassing the established queue and without the submission of official applications.
In connection with these facts, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 337 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Abuse of Official Position"), and investigative activities are currently underway.
The problem of corruption schemes in the distribution of land resources remains relevant in the regions of Kyrgyzstan. At the beginning of 2026, law enforcement agencies intensified control over the activities of local self-government bodies. Earlier, during similar inspections in Talas, it was possible to return state property worth nearly 17 million soms.
