Among the accused are: Mambetjunus Abylov, Aydanbek Akmatov, Nurlan Asanbekov, Akylbek Aitbaev, Azimbek Beknazarov, Marat Bayazov, Erlan Bekchoro uulu, Aibek Buzurmankulov, Atai Beyshenbek uulu, Ravshan Zheenbekov, Gulnara Juraeva, Chyngyz Kaparov, Rita Karasartova, Zhenish Moldokmatov, Ulukbek Mamatayev, Temir Mahmudov, Talaybek Mademinov, Klara Sooronkulova, Perizat Suranova, Asiya Sasykbaeva, Ilgiz Saryldyk uulu (Ilgiz Shamenov), and Shabdan Ali.

During the session, all the lawyers presented their arguments, and the defendants delivered their final statements. After that, the judicial panel retired to make a decision.
It should be noted that the agreement signed in the fall of 2022 with Uzbekistan regarding the borders led to a serious political scandal. Activists who protested against it were detained in October 2022 and charged under Article 278 "Organization of Mass Riots." Some materials of the case were classified, preventing the lawyers from reviewing them. Later, the defendants were additionally charged under Article 326 "Violent Seizure of Power."
On June 14, the court issued an acquittal, but the prosecution requested its annulment.
The case is currently under review in the second instance.
