In the Oktobrskiy district of Bishkek, law enforcement officers detained a man suspected of committing fraudulent actions. The press service of the law enforcement agencies reported this incident.
According to information received by the police, citizen Ch.K. filed a complaint against M.B., accusing him of fraud.
On April 20, 2025, taking advantage of the victim's trust, the suspect took possession of a BMW 540i, valued at 40 thousand dollars, under the pretext of purchasing it in installments.
As a down payment, M.B. handed over 5 thousand dollars, but soon sold the car to other individuals. He did not pay the remaining amount of 35 thousand dollars and stopped communicating.
Based on these facts, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational-search activities, the suspect, born in 1993, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
