In the village of Barpy, located in the Suzak district, a farmer has become one of the pioneers in growing citrus fruits, which are not very common for the local climate.
According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture, the farmer has successfully implemented this project for the past two years. As part of the experiment, he planted mandarins and has already achieved significant success.
“Using modern agronomic techniques, we were able to obtain a high-quality and abundant harvest of mandarins. The farmer is also growing lemons, having harvested up to 800 kg this year,” the source reports.
It should be noted that the fruits obtained not only meet personal needs but are also sold in the region's markets. Currently, bananas, dates, and various varieties of mandarins are also growing in the farmer's greenhouse. In the future, he plans to expand his greenhouse farm and increase the variety of tropical plants.
