During the holiday season, law enforcement agencies are recording an increase in domestic conflicts, which often escalate into more serious offenses and criminal cases. In this regard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic calls on citizens to adhere to the laws and to prevent violence in family life.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, most cases with serious consequences, such as bodily harm and threats, occur against the backdrop of domestic quarrels, alcohol consumption, and loss of control over emotions. These incidents require immediate intervention from law enforcement agencies.
During the holiday period, police officers work in an enhanced mode, quickly responding to all reports related to public order violations and family conflicts. Every report from citizens is thoroughly checked and receives a legal assessment.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that the use of physical force, threats, psychological pressure, and insults are offenses. Moreover, family conflicts cannot be considered a private matter if they affect the health and safety of citizens. Illegal actions are subject to accountability, regardless of family ties and circumstances.
Special attention is given to cases of violence against women, children, and the elderly. All such incidents are taken very seriously, and response measures are implemented without delay.
In the event of conflicts or threats to life and health, the Ministry of Internal Affairs strongly recommends contacting law enforcement agencies at the number 102. Adherence to the law and respect for loved ones are the foundations of personal and public safety.
