The General Plan project was developed in 2025 in collaboration with the city hall and the Research Institute of Prospective Urban Development. This document outlines the key directions for the development of the capital, taking into account factors such as demographics, infrastructure, and ecology. Public hearings on the project took place in Bishkek on December 24-25, 2025.
The event was attended by representatives of the city administration, project developers, relevant services, as well as active residents, journalists, and representatives of businesses and government structures. During the discussions, various opinions and proposals regarding the future development of the city were voiced.
