Changes to the current resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers concern the delegation of legislative powers to state bodies and local authorities. This decision was made with the aim of aligning environmental standards with current legislative requirements.

In accordance with the new rules, the list of powers transferred to state bodies and local executive structures has been expanded. These bodies will now be able to develop and approve regulatory legal documents governing air protection and ozone layer protection, including various standards, norms, and methodologies.

Cabinet representatives noted that these changes will help improve the organization of the regulatory framework in the field of air protection and contribute to a clearer distribution of responsibilities among state bodies.

The new rules will come into effect ten days after their official publication.
