According to the director of the institution, Zhyrgalbek Tolorov, the increase in the number of requests is linked to the end of the holiday weekends and the rise in the number of people needing outpatient care.
Tolorov noted that many patients come to the hospital bypassing family doctor groups and also without prior referrals. The highest number of requests is recorded in the morning hours, from 09:00 to 11:00, which contributes to the formation of long queues. “Although queues are still present today, every patient is under control: they are given tickets and directed to the necessary departments. To improve the situation, the number of registrars has been increased from three to four staff members. We are fully controlling the situation,” the director added.
On the day the video was recorded, about 600 people visited the hospital. The medical institution employs 630 specialists, there are sufficient conditions for receiving attached patients, and additional wards are being opened. On weekends, the medical staff worked without days off and in an intensified mode.
The city administration of Osh reported that to prevent acute respiratory viral infections and pneumonia, family medicine centers are operating without breaks.
According to the order of the Ministry of Health, the working hours of medical centers are established as follows:
- weekdays — from 08:00 to 20:00;
- Saturday — from 08:00 to 18:00;
- Sunday — from 08:00 to 14:00.
