In response to the situation that has arisen, the Ministry of Health noted that such queues are most often observed after weekends and holidays, when there is a sharp increase in the number of patients seeking outpatient care and consultations with specialists. According to Zhyrgalbek Tolorov, the director of the OMDKB, approximately 600 outpatient visits were registered on January 13, while the day before, January 12, around 800 children were seen in the clinical diagnostic department.

The Ministry of Health emphasized that there is the necessary infrastructure for scheduled admissions at the hospital: 18 doctor's offices, three registration desks, two cashiers, and two terminals are in operation. As noted by ministry representatives, queues most often form in the morning hours when obtaining tickets; however, after 11:00 AM, the flow of patients is distributed, and waiting times decrease.

Furthermore, the ministry pointed out the issue that many parents come to the hospital without referrals from local doctors at the Family Medicine Centers. The OMDKB is a third-level institution, and its clinical diagnostic department is not intended for primary visits without routing.

It is important to note that alongside the work of the clinical diagnostic department, specialized services such as the trauma center, ENT department, surgery, intensive care, and outpatient services are functioning in the hospital, which helps distribute patients according to their respective profiles.

The Ministry of Health assured that despite the high workload, assistance is provided to children, and all who seek help receive the necessary medical care and consultation. Parents were advised to follow the routing and consult local pediatricians at the Family Medicine Centers to avoid queues and obtain referrals when necessary.
