The Head of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic was informed about the equipping of courtrooms with audio and video recording.

At a working meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mederbek Satyiev, at the central office of the Judicial Department, important aspects of the digitalization of the judicial system were discussed.

According to the press service of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, the focus was on equipping courtrooms with audio and video recording systems.

Out of 193 courtrooms, 157 already have audio and video recording systems, and the installation of equipment in another 40 courtrooms is in the final stages. In several locations, there have been issues with the equipment, and negotiations are currently underway regarding the supply of necessary spare parts for their repair, according to the department's information.

Additionally, attention was paid to issues of logistical support, as well as the training and equipping of court bailiffs. The head of the Supreme Court emphasized the need for in-depth consideration of these issues and requested that relevant proposals be submitted as soon as possible, highlighting the important role of court bailiffs in maintaining order during hearings and ensuring the compulsory appearance of participants in the proceedings.
