The draft resolution presented for public discussion by the Cabinet of Ministers proposes to exempt air carriers from paying certain fees. This applies to domestic flights on routes of social significance. The main goal of the document is to curb the rise in air ticket prices and support the development of domestic civil aviation.

According to the draft, airlines will be required to pay only 50% of the fees for air navigation services charged by the state enterprise "Kyrgyz Air Navigation." However, carriers registered in Kyrgyzstan and operating regular flights on eight socially significant routes will be able to completely avoid paying these fees for seven calendar days after the flight is completed.

It is also proposed to implement similar measures for airport fees.

It is recommended that the JSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" charge airlines only 50% of the standard rate, while companies servicing the specified eight routes will be exempt from payment for a full seven days.
