Bishkek-2050: An Ambitious Master Plan or Another Utopia? Opinions of Architects
The Research Institute of Prospective Urban Development from St. Petersburg presented a master plan project for Bishkek until 2050, which was developed at the request of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. This master plan is a strategic document that defines the long-term directions for the city's development, aiming to strengthen Bishkek as a financial and logistics center of Central Asia, diversify the economy, and create a comfortable urban environment.
