Strong magnetic storms have begun on Earth due to solar flares
According to astronomers, the cause of the storms at levels G2 and G3 was plasma ejections directed towards Earth as a result of solar activities. These ejections have "noticeably larger angles of spread and speeds than previously assumed," as stated in the institute's report. Scientists also noted that on November 7, the storm will enter the "main phase," when the main volumes of ejected plasma will reach Earth, causing even more intense geomagnetic processes.
