ASYLBEKOV Rayaman

Architect. Born in 1947 in the village of Kosh-Tyube, Janay-Dzhol District, Osh Region of the Kyrgyz SSR. In 1964, he graduated from the Karavansky boarding school and entered the Frunze Art College. Since 1968, he worked as a drawing and drafting teacher at a secondary school in Tash-Tyube, Janay-Dzhol District. In 1970, he enrolled in the architectural and construction faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute. After graduation in 1975, he joined the design institute "Kyrgyzgiprostroy," where he worked in the resort and sanatorium construction workshop. Chief architect of projects.

The solution to the ensemble development of resort areas is one of the urgent and complex tasks of modern architecture in Kyrgyzstan. R. Asylbekov came to the polytechnic institute after art college, possessing a certain background in artistic culture. This circumstance allowed him to quickly gain strength and move on to solving complex independent tasks.
His works in the Issyk-Kul resort area include the "Osh" boarding house in the village of Bosteri, a 500-bed boarding house in the village of Kosh-Kol, the "Sunny" recreation center in the village of Dolinka, and others. A feature of these recreational facilities is that they are built comprehensively, i.e., each project's set of buildings and structures includes all types of services necessary to meet the needs of vacationers. Another important feature of these facilities is their ensemble quality. All buildings and structures are united into complex volumetric-spatial formations. One of the characteristic works of recent times in this genre is the "Zhemchuzhny" boarding house. A group of volumes of varying lengths and heights is combined at different angles into a single completed architectural ensemble. The nature of the composition's construction seems to flow from the characteristics of the surrounding environment.
A special place in his work is occupied by the project and construction of the branch of the Central Museum of V.I. Lenin in the city of Frunze. This work emerged as a result of the titanic efforts of a large number of participants — architects, engineers, designers, builders. The external appearance of this building embodies grandeur and solemnity, reflecting the significance of Lenin's ideas; the interior features transitions from large spaces to small, from bright to semi-darkened, from protruding forms to recessed ones, which, combined with a complex color solution and semantic load, create an amazing range of human sensations and experiences, effectively contributing to the understanding of Lenin's legacy.
All of R. Asylbekov's works are characterized by great tact, sophistication, and a search for national traits in the image of the work. He participates in various republican competitions. For his achievements in creating objects, he was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR. At the diploma exhibition in 1975, he was awarded a diploma of the I degree with distinction from the Union of Architects of the USSR.
