In Bishkek, the impact of climate change on the health of livestock communities was discussed

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a consultative meeting was held where participants were presented with preliminary results of a study titled "The Impact of Climate Change on the Health of Pastoral Communities in Kyrgyzstan (ICCPH)," as reported by the public foundation "Ilbirs."

This study is being implemented using a "One Health" approach and aims to analyze the impact of climate change on the health of herders across the country, as well as to identify key risk factors.

During the meeting, preliminary results of the first phase of the project were presented, key findings were discussed, and expert recommendations were gathered to prepare for the next phase of the research.

The event was attended by representatives from government agencies, the scientific community, international organizations, and specialized institutions.

Based on the discussions, it is planned to identify priority areas for future research and collaboration, as well as to develop recommendations for decision-makers.
