Significant growth of Kyrgyzstan's economy - Bakyt Torobaev discussed reforms with the IMF

During a meeting with Farid Talashly, the permanent representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev reported that the average growth of Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product over the past three years has been 9 percent.

During the discussion, the parties touched upon the results of structural reforms carried out by the government in recent years. The country's successes in stabilizing business activity and modernizing infrastructure received high praise from international rating agencies. Bakyt Torobaev noted that these reforms have contributed to a significant improvement in the investment climate and support for key sectors of the economy.
