Discussion on opening air communication between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia

At a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Mederbek Tumanov, and his Georgian counterpart, Alexander Khvtisiashvili, key issues of economic interaction between the two countries were discussed. As a result of the discussions, the parties agreed on the need to activate intergovernmental cooperation.

Among the topics considered were preparations for the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, the possibility of opening direct air communication, as well as the development of tourism partnerships and improvement of transport and logistics connections.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue joint efforts and take the necessary actions to implement previously reached agreements.
