The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a plan for the implementation of the National Development Program.
According to the information presented in the plan approved by the government, it is expected to complete 5% of the construction of the infrastructure of the railway 'China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan' by the end of 2026. This project is part of the National Development Program of Kyrgyzstan, which is planned until 2030.
In addition, the completion of the construction of the railway 'Balykchy - Kochkor' and the Kochkor station is scheduled for December 1, 2026.
The construction of the railway 'China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan' began on December 27, 2024, and its completion is scheduled for 2030.
The total length of the railway will be 532.5 kilometers, of which 304.9 kilometers will pass through the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
