A new policy is planned to be completed by 2033
According to a decree signed by President Sadyr Japarov, heating enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic will lose the ability to receive subsidies.
The transition to the new policy is expected to be completed by 2033.
As reported by the Ministry of Energy, due to low heating tariffs, the state budget allocates about 2 billion soms annually for subsidies to citizens. In this regard, annual tariff adjustments are planned so that enterprises can reach a level of self-sufficiency.
