As of the end of 2025, the area of vineyards reached 2,870 hectares, which is 225 hectares more than in 2024. At the same time, the gross harvest amounted to 5,990.1 tons, and the average yield reached 20.5 quintals per hectare.
To support the sector, grape seedlings were imported from Serbia, which underwent phytosanitary control and were selected from virus-free and technical varieties.
In the Batken region, specifically in the Leilek district, projects aimed at developing viticulture are being implemented. In the rural area of Jany-Jer, cooperatives are engaged in growing seedlings of the "avatar" and "kishmish" varieties. At the same time, plans are underway to create a new nursery that will specialize in the production of seedlings of the "avatar," "manicure finger," and "kishmish" varieties.
