
During the meeting, opportunities for investment in the Kyrgyz economy were discussed, including the interest of major companies such as Boston Consulting Group, Citibank, Societe Generale, and EY. The focus was on successful examples of British investments in the production of building materials and climate initiatives. Participants also considered areas of cooperation in critical mineral extraction, banking sector development, and the entry of Kyrgyz companies into international stock markets with the help of London.
Representatives from the IT, agro-industrial, and logistics sectors noted the growing interest in the region. According to co-chairman Askar Sydykov, joint projects in industry and education are already being implemented in Kyrgyzstan. The meeting concluded with an agreement on the need to activate business contacts and launch new business initiatives to strengthen trade and economic ties between Bishkek and London.
